DIY Solar Installation in Maine

Guy Marsden is a fascinating fellow who decided to use an enphase microinverter system to energize his barn.

He chronicles the whole process on his website:

You can see the trouble he went through as an “early” installer of the enphase system (in 2009 there was a huge shortage of inverters).

He ended up with a 21 panel system at around $21,000.

We can crush that price with our complete systems here at SimpleEnergyWorks!  Beyond that we include flashings, flashed roof combiner boxes, everything!

Guy would have saved a lot of time and hassle (and money) by simply buying a complete Kit system initially.  Live and learn.

A very informative article with his estimates, his reasoning for decisions, etc.  Well worth the read!
